Hey Momma, hey! (and daddy-o’s!) I’m Lindsay. I’m a southern little lady boss making some waves here in San Francisco. I photograph snuggly babies and real family moments for a living. Family is my everything, so this is definitely the job I was born for. If my career wasn’t already fun enough, as a side hustle I inspire creative entrepreneurs to go chasing waterfa-(Just kidding)-dreams.

“Lindsay was professional, patient and a total baby whisperer! Our newborn was comfortable with her from the moment she arrived to the moment she left.”

When is the best time for maternity portraits?

The best time for maternity portraits is around 30 weeks. This ensures that your baby bump is big enough to be the star of the show but you are feeling good enough to be up and about for your photo shoot.

When is the best time for Newborn photo sessions?

The best time for newborn photos is within the first 5-14 days after baby is born. This may seem quick but trust me it will be the magic moment that will be over so fast. Having photos to remember baby’s first days is priceless.

How do you ensure my baby’s safety?

I’m sort of a giant nerd when it comes to babies and moms safety. I worked as a nanny for 10 years before becoming a newborn photographer. I went to college for developmental psychology and childhood development. I’m also constantly reading and learning the latest best practices for safety. All props are stored in a clean dry environment and are washed with organic dye free detergents before and after the session. I take my job very seriously and am passionate about your peace of mind. All of my practices have been also walked through with a neonatal & postpartum nurse. Additionally I’m mentoring beginner newborn photographers in best practices and industry standards.

When will I get my images?

We’ll meet about a week after the session, you can come to my office or I can come to your home. You will get to look through a selection of the best images from your session and pick your favorites. I will help guide you to figure out what the best products are for creating timeless keepsakes with your images.

My home doesn’t look like a catalog, can we still do a session?

Your home is unique to you, not everyone’s space will look the same and that is just the joy of in home sessions. I bring lighting needed in case the natural light isn’t ideal. The focus of the images is on you and your family so it doesn’t have to look like an interior design catalog.

How much does it cost?

Newborn and family packages start at $775 and Maternity sessions start at $650. Most of my clients end up spending around $1200 for their total package. Including heirloom products like albums, prints, and wall art.
